So my mom is out visiting us this week so we decided on Saturday night to take her to a Las Vegas hockey game. We were really close to the ice but part of our view was blocked by the teams boxes or whatever you call them. There was a fight right after the National Anthem which I thought was so hilarious and they let them fight it out for a few minutes. There were several "almost" fights thru out the rest of the game but the refs wouldn't let them fight - I was a little disappointed. One guy got checked so hard into the glass right in front of us and ended up getting his nose broke and was bleeding everywhere. It was AWESOME. haha So here are two pictures of the first fight and a few other random ones - The big green guy is our mascot.

We actually have a lot in common with you -- we love hockey, and love the Wranglers! I like to go because it's where all the rest of the Canadians in Vegas hang out. We both love the fights and the hard checks to the boards. You were sitting behind the benches, which isn't the best spot -- in the future, shoot for section 110, behind the goal net/beside the goal judge. You have an unobstructed view of the players coming down towards the net and can see goals scored (and saves made) right in front of you. Lots of slamming into the boards in the corners, too.
Oh, the one time we sat behind the benches it was where all the "celebrities" sat... the actor who played Dewey on "Malcolm in the Middle" was sitting in front of us.
